TERMS & CONDITIONS + PRIVACY POLICY

By signing up to my (Hayley Ward - The Mother & The Gaff) hypnobirthing and/ or postpartum workshops, you are agreeing to the following:

Terms and Conditions

Payment

 

Group Workshops:

Deposit required on booking to confirm your place on our in person and/or online workshops and full payment must be complete before workshop begins.

This option including the deposit is non - refundable.

1:1 Private Workshops:

Deposit required on booking to confirm your place on our in person and/or online workshops and full payment must be complete before workshop begins. 

This option including the deposit is non - refundable.

Postpartum Classes, Services and Support 

Full payment required on booking to secure your support service. 

This option is non - refundable.

​

Pregnancy Relaxation:

Full payment required on booking to confirm your place for our pregnancy relaxation classes. 

This option is non - refundable. 

 

Cancellations


In the event of cancellation by the participant prior or during the start of the course or service the full payment is non refundable.

There is no refund available for the Payment plan option. If the participant cancels and/or does not attend or continue the workshop, the participant must continue to pay the plan for the remainder of the payment until the workshop/ course is paid in full. 


In the unlikely event of a cancelled workshop/course by me, Hayley - attempts will be made to reschedule the class.
If this is not possible for some, or alternative dates cannot be agreed, a full refund of the fee will be reinstated for the individuals for that specific class missed, not for the whole course.


This will be calculated as follows:
The total fee after deduction of the deposit divided by the number of sessions in the course.

No refund will be given for sessions already taken.

 

General


Participants taking part in Hypnobirthing Courses or Postpartum Classes + Services require understanding that the content of the course is

not medical advice.
Participants should seek the advice of a health-care provider to answer any health related, pregnancy or postpartum related issues surrounding their pregnancy, their labour and their birth and postpartum (baby and parents).
Hayley Ward can not be held responsible for any decisions that you make regarding your pregnancy and birth and postpartum/perinatal period.
Any questions or doubts you have about the use of Hypnobirthing should be taken up with your health care providers.
Taking a antenatal or Hypnobirthing or postpartum course will not guarantee a specific birth or postpartum outcome.


The resources given to you are for the participants personal use and should not be distributed to third parties.


By engaging in any content, purchases, services or otherwise, from I, Hayley Ward @themotherandthegaff, you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.

An agreement form will be sent to each participant which will include certain information such as names and contacts of the participants that will be involved.
This information will not be shared, it is purely for my own records.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy sets out how I collect and process any personal data from you, or provided from you in relation to my antenatal &/ hypnobirthing workshop or photographs.

The Mother & The Gaff collects and processes member’s information such as name, address, telephone number(s), email address, dates of workshop attendance, photos of clients & persons in photos who have agreed to this in the Agreement Form.

I also keep records of birth partners attending the course.
The data you supply to The Mother & The Gaff will be used for the following purposes only:
• to provide and deliver information for my personal records to complete metrics and goals.
• to circulate announcements.
• to contact you with important information in relation to workshops, changes to dates or times, etc.
• to respond to your comments or questions.
• to share relevant evidence based information.
• to process payment transactions and to provide invoices/receipts.

With reference to card payments - the card number is never written or stored anywhere.

If The mother & The Gaff receives a request from you regarding updating of any data, we will correct your records at the earliest possible time.

Your rights under data protection legislation


You as an individual have rights as follows:

The right to be informed about processing of your personal data.
The right to have your personal data corrected in case of inaccuracy and to have incomplete personal information completed.
The right to object to processing of your personal data.
The right to restrict processing of your personal data.
The right to erasure of your personal data.
The right to request access to your personal data and information about how we process it.
The right to move your personal data.
The right to withdraw consent (where use of personal information is based on consent).

Who do I disclose your personal information to?
Your personal information will not be disclosed to any third parties.

How long will I keep your personal information?

I will not keep your personal information for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it is held.

This will depend on the nature of your relationship with The Mother and The Gaff.

In general, I will keep personal information for the following periods of time:
Seven years after you have completed a course with me to enable me to deal with any subsequent queries and for legislative requirements relating to the processing of payment information.
After this seven-year period, to ensure I have a full historic record I will retain basic information relating to you, i.e. name and contact information.

How do I keep your personal information up to date?

To ensure I am able to communicate with you effectively, I only use the very latest data provided by you. To help me do this, please keep me informed if any of your details change or update your own details.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

I will review this policy at least annually and whenever there is a change to the way in which I use personal information. Where possible, I will notify you whenever there is a substantive change to this policy with a summary of any changes made.
